NRA BASICS RIFLE
“NO LIVE AMMUNITION ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM”!!
This course includes classroom and range time where Instructor candidates learn to teach others how to shoot rifles.
Instructor Candidates will teach the knowledge and skills of:

Multiple Rifle parts and operation

Ammunition knowledge

Shooting fundamentals

Range rules

Shooting from the bench rest

Prone position
-
Seated position
-
Proper stance

Kneeling position

Cleaning care and maintenance

Continued opportunities for skill development
Instructor Candidates will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting course outline and lesson plan binder, complete the Basics of Rifle Shooting Instructor Examination, and complete the Basics of Instructor Training BIT course.
WHAT TO BRING:

Your rifle in a proper hard or soft case.

150 rounds of the appropriate caliber ammunition for your rifle. NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN CLASSROOM!! (AMMO WILL BE STORED IN VEHICLES)

Please dress for outdoor weather (classroom is outdoors)
If you do not currently own a rifle we have rifles available at no additional charge (you must purchase ammunition when using a HPP Firearm).
