DSF L1 is an intuitive shooting course designed to help you become more efficient in the context of a worst-case life-threatening event.
Our USCCA Certified Instructors will guide you through the steps to train realistically with specific, tested methods of armed self-defense. From stance to grip to physical shooting techniques, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level 1 will help hone the edge of your inner warrior expert. We’ll get your body working with your gun instead of against it and you’ll learn which intuitive skills work best with what your body may naturally do while under stress in a life-threatening situation, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn to apply this information and these skills simply and effectively – regardless of your skill level.

USCCA DSF LEVEL 1 COURSE – $200.00 (Does NOT include the Range Fee)
Receive a Certificate of Completion from the USCCA signed by one of our USCCA Certified Instructors.
DSF L1 – Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level ONE Book are will also be available for purchase. Now you can own the content of which this course is based so you can continue to build your knowledge and revert back to the information of this course to refresh your understanding of the information.
ADDITIONAL COURSE INFORMATION
- If possible, bring one of the recommended handguns of your choice; Modern Striker Fired Full Size or Compact Models. Examples, Glock 19, 17, 34, 43x, 48, Springfield XD, XDm, XD Mod.2, Xds, Smith & Wesson M & P 9, M & P Sheild or Sheild Plus, HK VP 9, VP30, FNS-9, FNS-509, Sig Sauer P320, P365, 365X or XL, Macro. If you have a different action type of firearm, you may bring that to train with. (IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FIREARM, ONE MAY BE RENTED FOR $25).
- At least 2 magazines for your firearm.
- A Minimum of 300 rounds of ammunition. If possible, bring 9mm. Other acceptable calibers .40 S & W, .45 ACP
- Eye Protection and Electronic Hearing Protection (If you have it). If you do not, we will provide you with the proper protective equipment.
- Please bring a sack lunch, drinks, water, snacks and anything you may need to make yourself comfortable.
- Please bring pen and notepad for taking notes and a good learning attitude.
