Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and awareness, avoidance and de-escalation; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

Upon successfully completing this course, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a USCCA certified instructor, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos).

During this two-day training course, you’ll be taught by USCCA Training Counselor’s, Ken Ortega, Maggie Mordaunt and Charles Smith from Homeland Personal Protection.

Several of valuable topics will include:

• The top ten instructor mistakes, and how to avoid them

• Teaching best practices

• Running a safe live fire range.

You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers, as well as running a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. After completion of this course, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter, regardless of the topic of choice.

In order to complete your Instructor Certification, you MUST contact USCCA –  877-577-4800  to complete your E-Learning and order your Instructor Tool Kit.

You will then take this course on June 29th – 30th. NOTE: The E-Learning MUST BE COMPLETED prior to attending this course. Once you successfully complete the course, your course certification will be processed through USCCA and you will receive your Instructor Tool Kit.

Course Date and Time: Saturday and Sunday June 29th & 30th.

Both Days are long training days from 9am to 8pm so please come rested and prepared to learn.
