NRA – Personal Protection Inside The Home Instructor Course
This Course is presented By Vetted NRA Training Counselor Maggie Mordaunt and NRA Certified Instructor Karen Long of Homeland Personal Protection: Basic Instructor Training (BIT) must have been completed within the past two years.
Instructor Candidates will demonstrate their Understanding, Ability and Emotional Comfort that is essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Basic Personal Protection in The Home course. During the course Instructor Candidates will lecture, demonstrate, organize, conduct range drills, and complete an instructor certification examination.
As Certified DFC’s (Defensive Firearms Coaches), there are some Exciting Bonus Fundamentals of Home Defense Course Concepts and Drills that will be added to this course by Maggie and Karen that you DON NOT want to miss.
More Details:
Prerequisites: Must be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. Prior to the course, candidates complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in the pre-course assessment exercises.
Items to Bring:
NRA Basic Personal Protection in The Home course student packet i.e. book Etc.
Basic Instructor Training book (BIT)
Notepad
Required Gear:
1 Semi-automatic Firearm or Revolver
200 cartridges (This can be purchased locally)
Three magazines or speed loaders
Electronic Ear Protection
Eye protection (Eye Pro over glasses)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you choose to travel without the above Gear? Firearm, Eye Pro and Ear Pro rentals will be made available in addition to ammunition purchase at range location.
