This is the HPP Training “Handgun Basics Safety Course with a Cleaning, Care and Maintenance Workshop” offered at Bass Pro Shops Las Vegas Store.

“THIS COURSE IS FREE WITH A PURCHASE OF A HANDGUN”

This course for anyone new to Gun Ownership wanting to develop basic  shooting fundamental and firearm safety skills.

Topics include, firearm knowledge, nomenclature, firearm operation, ammunition knowledge and the fundamentals of marksmanship.

There is a profound difference between learning how to shoot a gun vs. learning how to use a gun for self-defense.

This is NOT a defense course.

This is a Four-hour class about becoming proficient and safely operating a handgun with consistency.

The tuition for this course is $100 which does NOT include the $12 Range Fee or ammunition. 

* If you recently purchased a handgun from Bass Pro Shops in past 30 Days, this class is complementary and you can apply the FREE range pass that comes with your firearm.

This course is for anyone over the age of 14. Ages 14-18 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Ammunition knowledge

• Fundamentals of marksmanship for consistent shot placement  

• The difference between training and practice

• Firearm Disassembly and Reassembly

• Cleaning, Care and Maintenance 

After the live fire portion of the course, there is a Cleaning, Care and Maintenance Workshop where you can learn how to disassemble, clean, lubricate and reassemble your firearm.
